 "There has never been a solid, basic understanding of what a "liberal" actually is. You can attempt to phrase it in different contexts from taxes to rights, but good luck finding Liberals that will agree the "three big issues" the party engages."
 While a remarkably complex issue, we must ask only one question: “How much do you value the progress of this country?” I’m willing to pay more taxes to increase education value, to encourage subsidies for colleges and universities. I’m willing to sacrifice a bit of my money so that our country, not just mine, can demonstrate to the world that all people must have the opportunity to develop their mind and sharpen their intelligence.
